Scrum backlog shows other status's

Our scrum backlog is showing tickets that are in UAT, Done etc and not tasks that are purely in backlog.

It also isn't showing any epics.

Is there a way to fix this?

At a guess, I'd say your board configuration is wrong. 

Take a look at the column configuration.  I think you will find that the status "Done" and "UAT" are not in the far right hand column.  Everything not in the far right hand column  will be either in the backlog or in a sprint, because it's not finished yet and needs more attention.
