I'm trying to enable the ability to quickly replicate implementation projects that utilize a scrum template.

I've got some custom fields, columns, and statuses I'd like replicated as well.

However, the "share settings with other projects" option is not there when I create a new project.

Is this feature available for the scrum template?

Hi @Jenny Lynne

This can be done but only if your projects a created as company managed projects.

If your projects are team managed projects this option is not available, as team managed projects don't share options

See documentation here about the differences

Dear @Jenny Lynne ,

Jira offer various ways to replicate project settings, but the exact feature of "sharing settings with other projects" through a checkbox during project creation may not be directly available, especially for specific templates like Scrum.

Jira doesn't provide a direct "share settings" checkbox for Scrum projects, you can still create a new project based on an existing one. This feature clones many of the settings from the chosen project. To do this, when you create a new project, select the option to create it based on an existing project instead of starting from a pre-defined template. This should replicate many settings, including issue types, workflows, screens, fields, and permissions.

Or you can replicate settings across projects by using shared schemes in Jira. This includes Issue Type Schemes, Workflow Schemes, Field Configuration Schemes, and more. You can set up these schemes in one project and then apply the same schemes to another project. This approach requires manual setup but is very flexible.
