Search by Issue key rather than Summary in Epic selector of board

We have created a scrum board to manage sprints. One of our colleagues would like to search for epics using the inbuilt EPIC filter button. We can only search by Summary and not issue key. Despite issue key being present in the drop down field selector (under summary), you can only search using text in summary field, rather than easier to remember issue key. 

So instead of having to remember summaries of each epic, it would be easier if we could simply type TIC-1, 2 or 3, rather than a whole sentence in summary field. Does anyone know if there is a setting somewhere I need to switch on?
