Search parent issues

Hi, How could I find only a parent issues (is parent of) in my project AA or filter=BB ?? 

I tried this filter but there is no results

""   category in (XXX) AND issue in parentsOf("status != Open ")  ""

In my project, I have many ticket is parent of others tickets.

Hi @Mohamed_BOUKHRIS

Is this in relation to Portfolio? Parentsof works against a specific issue - so for example, searching for a story in a work hierarchy would return the Epics, Initiatives and higher levels in your hierarchy in the search results.

If you're looking for more a search with a nestled query - such as give me all the Parents with closed stories below them - you'll need a more powerful JQL App - such as ScriptRunner.
