Search "who" has filled out a specific field

Huge project, user case is:

Externals are not allowed to fill in story points / effort. Yet some do again and again. This then has to be sorted out manually to be compliant again. Right now I can only find these cases by suspicion and then checking the "history" of an item.

I need a search query where I can go after a specific user and check in which user stories he has filled out the field "effort" or "story points".

Thx a lot for your help, because people are resistant to learning and it is a tiresome process the way I have to do this right now.

Hi,

You can't, you need to go in each issue and look at the history. You can try to use the rest api to automate this process.

An other option will be to hide these customfield from them with a plugin or create a listener some of these users update the story point field.

The lazy option, but may be the straithfoward will be to discuss with the external and explain them why they do not need to update this field.
