How Epic Name is different from Epic Summary? If I need to search an EPIC, it would point key word from Epic Name or Epic Summary?

Hi @Vinay Sharma ,

You can use the Epic summary to use a full sentence that describes the Epic and use the Epic name to shorten it. This Epic name is also used in the Epic Link field (which you can select to associate an issue with an epic) and it shows up in e.g. the Backlog.

Hi Vinay - Just to clarify a little. Posting here will get you help from other users in the Community. Sometimes an Atlassian employee may respond, but they are not the front line people here.

Plus, you are using a Free version, which does not include Support from Atlassian. Users here will help you the best they can, but if you need full Atlassian Support then you need to upgrade to a paid version.

Having said all of that, Rudy has provided an excellent answer above.  :-)
