Having previously worked with Jira, I thought once an issue has been moved from one project to another project, you could still find it by searching by the old "previous" issue id.
For example, if you move issue AA-123 to project BB and the issue becomes BB-532, you could search for "AA-123" and issue BB-532 would be a search result.
This didn't work in Jira OnDemand today (12/13/2011).
Is this a bug in Jira OnDemand or was I just imagining this functionality?
Hi,
You're right this is a feature that exists in JIRA standalone, although we have a bug on OnDemand that prevents this feature of working properly:
https://studio.atlassian.com/browse/JST-3933
I would advise you to watch and comment on the issue to improve the attention on that.
Best Regards,
Felipe Cuozzo
OnDemand Developer
Thanks for the update, Felipe! At least now I know I'm not going crazy.
