Hey there,
in Confluence, you can { to search for a macro, [ to search for a page or @to search for a user.
I am very much missing a shortcut that would search for an issue in Jira (for Jira, let's say in a Jira comment). Ex. I would type @ and instead of searching for a user, I would search for an issue by writing the summary of the issue.
Does something like this exist? :)
Thanks!
Hi, Kamil.
An issue search functionality in comment section in JIRA is not something that comes out of the box and so far, I did not come across any addons that is capable of doing so. The current feature only allows you to type the issue key and it will be automatically be rendered as a link to the other issue when the comment is saved.
Unlike Confluence macro or the alias to search for users, this will require a development of an add-on as mentioned in the mention an issue in a comment : auto complete and full text rendering ?
