Seeking Advice on Simulating Sprints in Jira

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a way to test a timeline in Jira. Specifically, I'd like to simulate some sprints to see how the burn down chart and other metrics develop over time. Ideally, I'd like to do this in a sandbox environment, but if that's not possible, I will perform it in the actual environment. Does anyone know if this is possible, and if so, how to set it up?

is this a good one for above - Create a sandbox environment with Jira Cloud Premium or Enterprise, or set up a test instance in Jira Server or Data Center for safe experimentation

If a sandbox isn't feasible, simulate directly in your active environment by following these steps:

Create a Test Project, Duplicate your live project's settings by creating a new project with the same project type (Scrum, Kanban) and configuration.
