Select List for Client x Business Location

We have created a Select List (single choice) field called "Client". The thing is that some clients (not all of them) has business locations (like Americas, Europe, etc). I don't now if we could migrate the Clients field to Select List (single choice) type. Or should I code a javascript to show a new field when this case is true.

I'm not understanding what you are aiming to do here.  You have a "client" select list, and you're clear that you want to capture the business locations, but after that, it gets fuzzy.  What would you gain from migrating the clients field from a select list (single) to, um, a select list (single)?  

What is the end goal here?  Client + Region as a cascading select?  Two unrelated fields, one for client and another for region?  Something else?
