Send an email with list of grandchildren that are related to a change

Hello,

I'd like to add an automation that upon a change if a field date of an issue, an email will be sent with the specific grand child issues that are affected from this change.

I'm struggling to to understand if I need to create a variable or or use the lookup issues.

I'm fine with the basics of how to create the trigger etc...

In my project I have the following parent-child hierarchy:

Milestone -> Epic -> RFE.

When a certain date field is changed on the milestone issue, I'd like to notify a mailing list that the some RFEs date may be impacted (skipping the epic).

There could be numerous epics and numerous RFEs involved under the milestone.

Any lead will be appreciated.

Don't know if you're aware, but you can use Notification Assistant for Jira Cloud to be able to send notifications to mail lists.
