Send email when Date is today

Greetings!!

I have custom field name "Date of Joining" and i wish to set up email notification when "Date of Joining" is today. 

for example a candidate is joining on 25-Sep-22, so when its 25-sep, it simply trigger email to assignee.

any guidance pls.

You might be able to do this with a filter subscription. Create your filter with a query like:

project = ABC and "Date of Joining" > startOfDay()

You can also use Automation for Jira. There is a free Lite version and a paid Pro version.

You will need an addon like scriptrunner or automation to achieve this.
