I am looking to find a solution to send an automated email response to a client that has not replied back to a ticket for X amount of days. Also if there is a way to automatically close the ticket 1 day after that automated email that would be a big help too!
I was searching the forums as I think this question has been asked before but I have been unable to find a solution.
Best,
Eric B.
If this is for Jira Service desk you could do it using the automation feature.
You could setup SLA's and based on the SLA's you could send a email something like when the SLA is breached send a email.
Also you could use automation to execute the rules and auto close the ticket.
Hi @Eric B_
Additionally, for issues from Jira Sofware or Jira Core, you can set notification using add-on SLA Time and Report. It lets to set time limits for issues you need and choose automate action for an exceeded issue: notification & change priority, reporter or status
