Set Resolution (system field) to Done when an issue is closed

I have 2000+ issues that don't have a resolution but the status is closed. The reason is because there is no post function to set the resolution to done on the Close transition. I can't find a way through bulk edit or automation to set this system field. How can I do this???

Hi @Lori Milam

what you could do is to add a temporary looped transition to your workflow from a state to itself. You can restrict this transition with a condition so that only you can see it and add a post function which sets the resolution to Done.

In a bulk change you can then apply this transition to all your issues.

And afterwards remove the transition.
