Set a specific dashboard as default for specific group

I'd like to set a specific dashboard as default for specific group.

What is the best practice for doing so?

This isn’t a function of Jira. In Jira there is only one default dashboard. We actually went through something similar, as our instance is a public instance of Jira. We wanted one dashboard for internal users and one for the public but it wasn’t achievable.

what we do for this is have a list of shared dashboards that are recommended to our users then they can favorite the ones they like

the other thing you could do is make an onboarding doc that includes how to favorite this specific dashboard for that user group.
