We have a two-way api set up with our Service Now software. This means that when a user creates an issue in Service Now this issue creates a new bug in our Jira. When we close the bug the issue in Service Now also closes.
I would like it when the newly created bug in Jira by reporter "Service Now Jira Sync" is automatically linked to our Epic for these bugs. Now we have to do this manually. I cannot find it in the automation section on how to do this.
Thank you.

Hi @Gaurav, Great help! I think I'm almost there. The third action I find difficult. The Epic is not available as option to alter after creating issue. Am I not choosing the right action?

Hello @Martijn Dekker
You are at the right place. In the drop-down for fields, please start typing 'Epic' and it will provide you with relevant options. From the options, select Epic Link and provide the required value.
Hope this helps.

@Gaurav YES it worked. It a bit of figuring out, because I had more options then the one you have. I have a textfield option and a (gh-epic-link) option. It was the second one. Resolved!! Thanks.
