Set the default displayed board when clicking on a Recent Jira Project

I have a project that has both a Kanban board and a SCRUM board attached to it.  When using the new Jira view, clicking on a recent project  will always go straight to the Kanban board rather than the SCRUM board and there is no easy way to switch to the SCRUM board without going back to the main Jira view and selecting the SCRUM board

How can I set the project so that the SCRUM board view is displayed when clicking the Project box in Recent projects

That feature is not currently available. There is a change request for it that you can vote on:
