Setting an issue card color based on whether it is blocked by a linked issue

How do I set a card to a color if it is an issue that's being blocked? Or how else are people identifying blocked issues on a board in Jira Cloud? I could use the label field or a flag, but it seems you should be able to set the color for this via JQL, and I cannot for the life of me figure out how.

Are you a board admin? If yes click on:

Board -> Configure -> Card Colours

In Colour Based : Select Priority

I understand you can select a color based on priority, but what does priority have to do with linked issues or issues that are blocked?

My bad I missed the linked issues. You will have to write your own JQL to filter issues that are blocked. Instead of selecting priority, you select Queries.
