Setting custom description fields during issue creation via REST API

Hi 

I am using /rest/api/2 for issue creation, for one of my projects. I am unable to find any documentation on how we can set custom description fields during issue creation. 

Under Description Fields we have two tabs (Default and Device Info). Device Info has some fields which we can set via the Issue Request Form (through the UI). Wanted some info on how we can set them via the api?

Found the solution. 

It's same as setting custom fields. 

Each field has an id and we can reference it like customfield_xxxxx
