Setting the status order has no effect

I reordered the status in Settings / Issues / Status 

but it has no effect on the sort order. 

Is this a bug?

The order appears to be determined based on the order in which you added the statuses to your workflow, at least when you are using the global transitions.

if you want to change the order, add a new workflow property called

opsbar-sequence to the various transitions. Details about how to configure the properties can be found here.
