Setting up sandbox

Just upgraded to Premium and I want to use sandbox. I went to create a new project and one of the options was import. I selected to import my jira cloud and it asked me to do my backup. Then download back up. No problem yet.

• I go to import and tells me that when I import it will overwrite everything. Does this mean that it will overwrite my sandbox which is currently empty with my jira cloud?
• Does it mean that it will overwrite my jir cloud with what I just backed up?
• Did I back up my Jira cloud or my sandbox?
