Hi,
how can i set the value for some fields (custom or standard) using the mail handler named "Create a new issue or add a comment to an existing issue"?
For example: to set Parent ID of a Subtask.
Should the sender insert some tags in the subject of the email?

The email handlers can't set fields, they're quite simple, only able to process users, subject (summary), body (description) and take a guess at a priority.
There are apps which improve on this, and some people have had success with Automations and Scripts scanning "issue just created, look for phrases in the description"

I tend to look to "Jira Enhanced Mail Handler", but there are some others, typing "email" into the marketplace (JETI is another one I've run into, but I've not used the email handlers in it myself, only the outgoing mail stuff)
