Share point Folder creation Automation For jira Cloud

Is there any way to automate the sharepoint folder creation as the issue key while we create new issues in jira?

I hypothesize a SharePoint folder can be created using the REST API, and that could be called with a web request from an automation rule.

What have you tried thus far to solve this?

I recommend doing a browser search, based on your SharePoint version, to find the correct REST API function to call for creating a folder.
