Shared Sprint between boards

Ivan Andonov January 10, 2024

Hi there,

I understand that each sprint is unique and not associated with a board. If I have team 1  board 1 with sprints 1-5 developing some functionality and I want team 2 with board 2 working on different functionality sprints 1-5 then all sprints are visible in all boards.

How do I display sprints 1-5 board 1 to only team 1

Sprints 1-5 team 2 to only board 2

All under the same project name.

I thought I can change the board filter by adding unique naming to both set of sprints, but then I don't see any of the backlog issues and user stories.

Anyone had to deal with this? Most people need same sprint in different boards, I am the other way around :) I feel like this should have been Admin feature.

The sprints show in the different boards because the board filters are able to draw in issues that could be in a sprint.

You can fix this only by separating the team's boards completely.  Make sure no board selects for issues that could be in other sprints.

Hi @Ivan Andonov

If the scope of the board 1 is not the same as board 2, you should not see Sprint from Team 2 in board of Team 1.
