Shared Team field from advanced roadmap is not available on field change trigger

We use the "Shared Team" field provided through Advanced Roadmaps feature.   I am trying to trigger when this field is changed. but the Team field value is not in the picklist.
the trigger states that you may search for field name using regex, but I don't see any way of adding values that are not in the field picklist.
