Shared database for Jira, bitbucket and confluence

Ravindra Ravindra September 16, 2021

Hello,

I have one doubt regarding the database for Atlassian products, i.e. Connect Bitbucket to PostgreSQL.

Is it possible to use one single postgresql database and share it between Jira, Bitbucket and Confluence or each of these product requires its own postgresql database?

If possible to use shared database, then please share the documentation url for how to use it.

Please confirm.

Each requires its own separate database.  But you can have all of those databases running in the same service.

As an example, we've got a single Postgresql service running on one machine, and then several Atlassian (and other) applications running that use databases within it
