Sharing a Jira issue

I viewed an Internet video from a site I will try to find again, that showed sharing a Jira issue.  Jira was configured to include pre-formatted content in the email.  Below the message was this entry: "This email was sent by the External Share for Jira app."

What do I need to do to configure Jira to send the Jira Identifier, Title, link to the Jira item, and any other fields I wish to include?

Based on the text you provided, I'm guessing that the video was demonstrating a feature available when the third party app External Share for Jira has been added to the Jira instance.

It seems like you'll need to look at the documentation for that app, and also get it installed on your Jira instance.

Thank you.  I have been able to user @[username] to achieve my goal, so I'm going with that for now.
