Sharing one Jira licence between two part-timers

Hello,

In our JIRA instance, we have reached the limit of our current subscription number. We will probably shift to the next subscription level within the next six months. In the meantime, I need to manage the current user licences. In our organisation, we have a number of part-time staff who work on specific days and others who work the days these one do not.

Can I allocate the one licence for one person on say, Monday and Tuesday, and then have another person allocated to the same licence for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday?

You can do this manually, or are you looking for something that can automate this? In that case you would need ScriptRunner.

Thanks for responding.

I'm hoping to acquire Script Runner at some stage in the future, so I seem to be restricted to doing it manually for now.

I guess I will just have to deactivate/reactivate the part-time employees licenses according to (and upon) the days they work.
