I have a scrum board with a custom workflow (adding an "IN REVIEW" column). The only thing I can't seem to figure out is how to show the backlog to the left of the "TO DO" column. I want to be able to drag an issue from the backlog and drop it in the "TO DO" column of the current sprint, all on the same screen. I vividly remember this being how it was done in a previous job.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi @Magnus Bakke,
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
The backlog column is only available on Kanban boards, Scrum boards have a separate sections for the backlog that allows you to do sprint planning and prioritize your backlog.
Thank you, Mikael. Is this also the case for the classic version?

If you by classic is referring to company-managed projects then yes.

Thank you.
By classic, I'm referring to the "classic" project template, as opposed to next-gen. I don't believe I've been presented with such a choice on this project, but I can tell you for sure that I dragged issues from "backlog" and dropped into "to do" daily on a previous job, which is exactly what I want.

FYI
"Classic" has been rebranded as "Company Managed"
"next-gen" has been rebranded as "Team Managed"
