Show timetracking as hours, not days

Maja Aagaard April 19, 2021

in the new design view, our development time tracking is entered as hours - that is how we work.
But the new view converts it to days - that's a pain for us.

How can I ensure the time we have entered is shown as we enter it?
It needs to show hours - always

Ah, I see.

Unfortunately, this is an issue that is specific to New Issue View and has not yet been resolved - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-69810

You can see what you still can't do in Issue View https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-70555

Hi @Maja Aagaard,

You can try change Jira Global Time Tracking setting:

  1. Select Settings > Issues.
  2. In the sidebar, under ISSUE FEATURES, select Time Tracking.
  3. Click Edit global settings.
  4. Configure time tracking settings by editing the following fields:

Hi Pavel,

thanks - this setting is already set to hours from previous configuration.

That is why I don't understand why it shows as days on the issue - in the backlog hours are shown
