Show total count of stories at top of swimlanes for active sprints

Erik d_Arbois August 28, 2025

In the old active sprint view, I used to be able to see the total count of the story cards at each progress status  for every epic (grouped by epic), above the swimlanes.

This total is now hidden from view (the totals are for each individual epic), meaning that I have to expand each swimlane to see the totals for each epic and then add them manually.

See example totals marked in red in attached screenshot; is there a way to see them in the new view?

Hi @Erik d_Arbois,

Indeed, this seems to be no longer possible... As already recommended, you could make a suggestion to Atlassian.

If you need this for reporting or simply to track current sprint work, and if you happen to have our Great Gadgets app installed, you can display these counts at the top of epic swim-lanes in the Team Wallboard gadget, which is capable of displaying the contents of an agile board on a Jira dashboard.

Hi @Erik d_Arbois

What is your question, to have this back.

Then you have to make the suggestion to Atlassian, via the provide feedback option.

Currently there is no option to view this as it was before.
