Showing hint box when mouse icon stay on a custom field

Hi all,

Is it possible to show a hing box in Jira create screen when mouse icon stay on a custom field?

For example, in the Projects section, when the mouse icon stay on a project name, a hint box which shows the project name will be displayed as following picture:

 

How can i have such a hint box in the case of staying the mouse icon on a custom field so that show the field's pre-defined descriptions?

Hi @sahere 

Not natively - but you can utilise Field Configurations to change the "description" under each field per project/issue type in the create/edit screens.

This allows you to have a custom description, detailing what the field is, what to put in the field, or similar. It will appear in grey text below each field.
