We recently upgraded from SIL scripts 4.8.0.17 to 6.0.820.0. When I view the validator scripts in the workflow the validator is displaying a message "Unpublished next to the validator. ex: "Will run the CheckInTracking sil Program UNPUBLISHED. The workflow is published and I tried removing the validator and adding the validator back In put the message is still there.
This message does not display in version 4.8.0.17. What does that message mean and how do you fix it?
Hello @Nannette Mori and @Xavier Burais ,
That “Unpublished” just informs the user that the workflow is in editing mode. Once you publish it, it`s saved. In other words, the orange statuses “Unpublished” and button “Publish changes” are in sync with Jira`s native Publish workflow version button.
Hope it answers your question.
Best regards,
Anna
Hello @Anna Hryhoruk _Appfire_ ,
Thank you for your answer.
It's a stange behaviour because:
- when we are on the transition information screen, the workflow is necessarily being edited, so it will always display "Unpublished"
- this information is displayed specifically on the SIL script post function (or validator) while the whole workflow is being edited and we haven't necessarily made any changes to this pos function.
In my opinion, it therefore does not provide any information, but it does generates doubts.

Thanks so much for your feedback @Xavier Burais , I see your point. I’ve forwarded your comments to our Product Team, and we’re considering some UI adjustments to clarify this behavior in the future! If you have any further feedback you’d like to share, we’d love to hear your thoughts here
Best regards,
Anna

Same behaviour, quite weird, and it seems the post-function and the SIL scripts work fine...
But I don't understain why there is still the warning sticker "unpublished" close to the post unf function, and a button "publish changes" on the right side, with a warning pictogram.
It's really confusing.
We use "Power Scripts for Jira" (6.0.820.3) with Jira 8.20.6 (V9 soon). I tell myself that we should have taken script runner instead.
