Hello
I am trying to set up a rule that when I have a start date that is less than a day away, it moves the card to a certain list.
This is the rule I have set "when a start date less than 1 days from now is set on a card by me, move the card to the top of list "To do today""
I have looked at it multiple times and can't understand why it's not working. I'm wondering if it's something to do with the Planyway Power Up?
Any advice much appreciated!
Sam
Hi @Sam Gamblin and welcome to the community!
You can't do that per se. Jira uses the rank field to sort issues, and there isn't a functionality to move the card to the top of the list. You can only move the card to a different status.

Hi @Sam Gamblin -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
This is a Butler automation question for Trello, correct?
If so, I just tried the rule you described and enabled it in Trello and it worked for me. For example, here is my rule:
Would you please post an image of your rule as that may provide some context for the cause. Thanks!
Kind regards,
Bill

Hi Bill, yes you're right!
I have some "due date" rules on the board too, and was wondering if they might be conflicting somehow?

Hi, Sam.
Very interesting! Do you note the differences between our rules which do exactly the same thing?
You apparently set the date criteria first while I did the date set first. Looks like a bug to me as the triggers are different *and* the same.
Perhaps try to do what I did by creating a new rule, selecting the date set first, and then the "less than 1 days from now" part.
