Hi there,
I'm unable to Save over filters or move cards across our Sprint Board, even as an admin. More alarming, in settings under access it says that I've never used the JIRA software product and I'm in there all day every day! Does anyone know what the issue could be? My boss and our IT person have looked into this issue. I also logged out and logged back in, for what it's worth.
Thanks for the help,
Megan
Hello Megan,
Welcome to Atlassian community.
I just would like to clarify to you that JIRA projects permission (Like move cards, edit board filters, etc) are not related to the global Site administration, but to the project permission scheme. You can be a Site Administrator and still be blocked to move cards or edit issues in the project permission scheme.
To check your project permission, navigate to your Project page and click on Project settings:
In the left menu, navigate to the permissions tab and check if your user is properly configured under the manage Sprint permissions, Browse projects and Administer Project - These three permissions are the ones which could be blocking you to perform the activities you mentioned.
To check what users are related to each role under the permission, you can navigate to the people tab in the same left menu.
About the other problem you mentioned, we have a bug reported about it here:
As you can see, the last access of a user is not been informed correctly under the profile page and our developers are currently working to get it fixed. Feel free to watch the bug to receive notifications about any updates.
Let me know if this information helps.
Hello Peterson,
Thank you so much!! I really appreciate your detail. I am an admin and I can move cards across the board with some minor changes to JIRA. I was very concerned about the "Never used this product" note in my user settings, but I'm not as concerned knowing this is a known issue!! Thank you very much for the help today.
