Slack for JIRA Server Incompatible with 8.20.1 Security Advisory

Following the very recent security advisory to update to version 8.20.1 (fixed version) from 8.19.1, we discover that Slack for JIRA server is listed as incompatible with our checks.

Is there a fix or will this be tested for compatibility very shortly?

In general, the Jira Server for Slack app is compatible with new Jira releases. When a new version of Jira is released, the team runs a set of tests on the app in the new Jira version, and marks the existing version of the app as compatible in the Marketplace if they all pass. This particular app has not historically needed changes to be compatible with new Jira releases.

You can expect the version to be checked and updated in Marketplace shortly. In the meantime however, I would say that it is extremely unlikely that there will need to be changes to the Jira Server for Slack app between Jira 8.20.0 (where it is currently marked compatible) and Jira 8.20.1, so you may consider enabling the app even if it is not currently marked compatible.
