Using Jira Cloud and the build in Slack integration for a project. Previously we had it set to notify on new ticket and also when status transitioned:
This worked well for the transitions but we were very rarely informed of created tickets.
I've now changed the integration to be for created issues only, since yesterday and not a single notification has been sent even though there's been about 10 issues created
I am assuming that all this is for one specific project?
Have there been any changes to the workflow? In order alert listeners on the "Issue created" Event, this event needs to be triggered by the workflow transition. That is the default behaviour but can be changed manually.
If the screenshots and tests all regard the same project and there haven't been changes to the config, that is unlikely though. You could test it by creating an automation rule on "issue created" and see if that triggers?
Hi Rebekka, correct this is all from the same specific project and even. The workflow still has the "issue created" event in the create transition:
For this project we have a bunch of automation rules that trigger on creation and they haven't been a problem. It seems to only be with the actual slack function, but as I said previously it works fine with the transitions.
