Slack notifications once an issue / subtask is assigned to a person

Hi folks!

I want to send Slack notifications to Slack users if a new issue / subtask is assigned to them in JIRA. 

How should I go about in setting this up?

Hello @junenacpil, 

Do you have the slack integration app connected in your project? If yes, I think then you can connect the workspace in jira and set it on when the issue has been "Assigned". 

If you send that ticket to a channel would that work? Or you are looking at sending a personal notification?

The other way would would be, setting an automation in Jira that will trigger when the issue has been assigned.
