Smart commit stopped working!

I have been using Jira Cloud with Bitbucket for past 1 week and smart commit was working until yesterday. Now none of my commits are being picked up by Jira, even though the branch is correctly picked up in the Development tools section. Comments are not logged and issues aren't transitioned anymore. I noticed this happening once I enabled Pipelines. So disabled Pipelines and tried again but to no avail.

Also, without access to logs, I am unable to figure out what exactly is the cause for this. Have tried all suggested methods here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/jira-cloud-commits-in-jira-issues-not-showing-up-779160704.html but nothing worked. Is it something I did that caused Smart Commits to stop working?
