Hello,
Is anyone else using Advanced Roadmaps for PI Planning and Scrum Of Scrums meetings?
I switched our teams to using AR a little over 3 months ago and it's working out really good for us.
There are many features that helps to create a realistic PI plans for all the teams.
There are however a few things which would really help us out, like:
* On team sprint reports on tickets added after sprint start there is an asterisk added next to the ticket id (ZZ-12345 *). It would extremely convenient to also see that asterisk on the AR timeline. It's a clear indicator of sprint bloat.
* For dependencies, both incoming and outgoing, it would be more useful to know if the team on the dependences is different. There are inter-team dependencies that will work out during the course of the sprint. What SM/PM should watch for is external dependencies.
* Advanced Roadmap dashboard gadgets. I profess to my teams that the sprint scrum boards are for the teams day to day workflow. Anything for the SM, PM etc. to proactively monitor should be moved to a dashboard.
There are others but this is a start.
Is anyone else using it for PI Planning? Does anyone know if there is an Atlassian advisory group that actively solicits feedback for how their products are being used in an advanced way?
Thanks,
Chuck
Hi @Chuck Oleary,
There is an Advanced planning group here on the Community where you can drop a line and every now and then, feedback opportunities are announced.
Funnily enough, there was a reach out earlier this month. I don't know if it's still on, but you can definitely check.
Hope this helps!
