Some swimlanes do not appear (based on simple "parent" property)

In a Kanban board I try to display with a JQL query the work items included into some Epics. It works for some but not for others. All of them include work items.

JQL like:

parent = ABC-12345

The JQL that are not displayed in board are totally working fine with same JQL in "filters".

Is there a way to get help to solve that, or to understand the causes?

Hi @benjaminhkb ,

From the top of my head, here are some of the main reasons why work items would not be visible on a Kanban board:

  • The work item status is not mapped to a visible column
  • A Quick filter is hiding the work item
  • The work item is returned by the main Board filter
  • The work item is not included in the Board sub-filter
  • The work item is completed and out of scope of the Completed issues timeframe setting

Perhaps you can spot a pattern in the work items that are shown and the ones that are not?
