I haven't found a option to sort my workflow steps.
It would be helpful for my two dimensional filter on the dashboard as well as the list in the ticket itself:
Would it help to create the same workflow again and create the steps in the right order? I would think you can just change the ID?

On the new issue view, currently, there is no option to change the order of the statuses.
It was only possible on the old view for classic projects where the order could be changed directly on the Statuses page and also on the workflow.
