Hi Members,
I have observed that the sorting on "Label" or "Components" fields across pages are not working.
Issue: Let's say I have a Test Execution which has 200 test cases. I choose page size as "100" which will show 2 pages.
Now when I sort, it sorts for Page 1 only. Also in Page 1, it does not sorts correctly.
I am very much confident this was working a week back.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Hi @Ashish Ranjan ,
I'm guessing you're using global search work items option? Or are you using List view/All work view within the project?
I have experienced some smaller issues with sorting specific columns (think it was related to Components) in the past but that was a while back.
Could you maybe share which Labels you are using so we can maybe try to replicate this behavior?
Cheers,
Tobi
Hi Tobi,
Thank you for checking on this.
I have experienced this behavior on the card of "Test Execution" type issue specifically.
I will try to paint the details.
So, I have a "Test Execution" type of issue card, which lists around 250+ test cases. All these test cases have Label like "Earth/Jupiter/Mars" and Components like "Report/Assessment/Planning/Onboarding".
When I try to sort the Test Case list, it sorts only in the page(which can be 10/50/100) but not the whole 250+ list.
I have very confident that this was working few weeks back.
Regards,
Ashish Ranjan

Hi @Ashish Ranjan ,
Interesting. Can you please additionally share which page you're using to view/sort those items? Is it global item search, "List" or "All work" page within the project or some (I'm guessing) Xray functionality/view?
I'm trying to find a view where you can set 'page size' but I'm unable to do so 👀
Cheers,
Tobi

Yes.
This is Xray functionality.
I have attached a screenshot of such Test Execution card.

Ah, got it. Thanks for sharing that info!
I currently don't have any instance with Xray to test it out :/
I'd recommend reaching out directly to the vendor > https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211769/xray-test-management-for-jira?tab=support&hosting=cloud
Additionally, you could check out their release notes to see if any recent updates might have caused this functionality to stop working. 👀
