I don't have the option to split an issue from backlog view, in a team managed project
Is there a way to do it?

On team-managed projects, it’s currently only possible to clone an issue, but not split it.
There is a feature request suggesting improvements for that:

I don't think that there was a choice of splitting an issue. What you can do is to create another issue, and then link it to the previous one with the "Split from"/"Split to" choice.

Hi Alex. Yes, that feature is available when you right click in an issue on the backlog view (but it seems it is only available in a company-managed project).
