Hello Community!
When I split issues in Backlog of our Jira Software, the splitted issues don´t have the links "split to / split from".
There can I activate the linking of splitted issues?
Thanks!
Stefan
Hi @Stefan Frey,
Can you check if the link does exist in your Jira? You can find it in the administration menu > Issues > Issue linking:
Hope this helps,

Hello Manon!
Thanks for your reply.
"Issue split" in Issue Linking does exist.
But automatic linking of split issues doesn´t work.
Regards,
Stefan

Thanks for checking! You may not have permission to link issues in your project, can you add any other link? E.g., can you say issue A is blocked by issue B and issue B blocks issue A?

Also, do you see anything in the issue history when you split them? Could there be an automation rule removing issue links?

Hello Manon,
Similar to Stefan, I cannot split issues in a company-managed project. Issue linking is enabled, and I do not have any issue security schemes in place. Also, I am the owner/admin for the Jira instance, so I would not think there are any security settings blocking me. However, I am new to this, so anything is possible. Any other suggestions?
Cheers,
Cole.
