Sprint Field says None

Currently users who have permissions for the Sprint field cannot put an issue in a specific Sprint.  It does not allow for the drop down and just says "None".  In addition, is there a way to set a default Sprint?

Do you have the Sprint field in the Edit screen? if you dont have it, it wont allow you to edit the sprint field. Let me know what you find.
