Sprint Reports Not Working After Closing Sprint

I have a sprint where the burndown/sprint reports were working just fine, until I close the sprint. Once I closed the sprint, I get an error when I try to view the reports.

"The chart cannot be shown because there are no issues."

When I reopen the sprint, the reports are fine.

If I click on the '...' in the report view and 'view sprint in issue navigator' I see the following query, which is clearly the issue.

issueKey in ()

I have other boards where this works completely fine.
