Hello,

we noticed the following issue in our Jira Cloud instance:

The start time of the sprint in the sprint report does not match what we enter when we launch the sprint (in the report it shows 7 hours later). Due to this, tasks that are closed within the sprint timeframe are reported as closed outside of the sprint:

Time set in the sprint launch form:

Time reported in the sprint report form:Screen Shot 2019-11-26 at 15.45.54.png

We believe that the date that we enter in the sprint launch form is being associated to the wrong timezone.

The timezone in the board settings is setup to our timezone (GMT+1).

Is there anything else we should check?

Thank you

Hi @David Huerva

This is a bit of a shot in the dark, but it seems to make logical sense to me....

Is the user that started the sprint in the same timezone or did they start it from a different location? Also, what is the timezone of the person running the report? If they both match the zone in the board settings then the time in the sprint launch form and the sprint report should match.

If the person running the report is in GMT-6 (based on their user profile, not necessarily their physical location) and the sprint was started in GMT+1 then I could see where this might happen; the report would be showing the correct time that the sprint was started, just offset by the timezone for the user in GMT-6.

Of course, if everyone is collocated in Ireland or Portugal then this theory is out the window.
