Sprint list is not visible in the create screen

Screen being used for Create, Edit and view operation are the same but in the create screen the sprint field does not show any dropdown options but in edit and view screen it is visible I've checked all the permissions and workflow and still don't know what the issue is.

You can't set a sprint in the create screen, because the issue does not have any data that can tell Jira if it could go into a particular sprint.

Imagine a board (to which sprints belong) that says "Project = X and component = 42".  Before you create the issue, Jira has no way to know that it is going to have component 42 put on it, so it has no way to know what board it might appear on, and hence what sprints it might be valid for.

I have the same problem but I don´t understand your answer.

I have already created sprint1 and sprint2 in this company-managed project.

They both have many tasks and bugs assigned.

Why cant I have a Sprint dropdown combo in the "Create" screen when I have sprints created?

I have placed the "Sprint" field in the CreateIssueScreen but when I select it, it says it hasnt found any sprints matching my project. I dont understand why?

Make sure you are selecting correct project in create issues screen
