Sprint name sharing in sprint field on different project

alexandre_antoine October 18, 2018

Hello

I have 2 differents projects (project A and project B).

When I create a sprint on project A ( for example : sprint1), the name will be display on the sprint suggestion on the sprint field of the project B, and vice versa

How can I separate the suggestion of each project ?

Best regards

Sprints belong to the issues. Not to a project or a board. When a sprint is created in a board and the issues in the board is coming from multiple projects, the sprints on that board will appear in all those projects. Can you check if that is what is happening?

Check the board filter to see the projects from which the board is pulling issues.

Hello

Thank's for the proposition.

I havn't share any issue between project (issue on sprint 1 is only on project A for example)

The sprint is correctly display on the correspondant project. But my issue is still the same : I create a sprint on project A, present on backlog of the project A (and not present on project B), but display as proposition on the sprint field on the ticket on project B

Best regards

We created a naming standard where teams are supposed to prefix their sprints with their Jira project key.   Annoying problem, but there isn't a better obvious workaround.

Very annyoing... we have around 20 active projects... that field becomes not only cumbersome, but time consuming. Not to say error prone...
